HeatBoard Kits
The HeatBoard kit includes HeatBoard units 30"x36"x15/32"(7.5sf/ea), selected heat cable amount, sensor, installation monitor, and selected thermostat option.

HeatBoard Kits

    • See an electrician for electrical requirements.

    • HeatBoard Systems LLC can provide OJ Microline thermostats. If you choose to purchase your own thermostat, select HeatBoard kit with "No thermostat / customer will provice".  Honeywell and Mysa are alternate choices. 
    • CONTACT US for help with ordering the right amount of heat cable. The cable CAN NOT be cut, crossed over, or spaced closer than 2" apart. 
    • Sometimes additional HeatBoard units are needed to make the heat cable layout easier. In non-heated areas, order Margin Board. Margin Board 30"x36" is the same thickness as HeatBoard. 
    • A GROOVE CHISEL can be helpful for making additional grooves for the heat sensor or for altering the pattern for heat cable layout. 
    • Have a plan for transitions at doorways. For example, porcelain tile 5/16" thick on HeatBoard transitioning to 3/4" hardwood may need a reducer such as Schluter Reno-TK. 

ADD TO THE ORDER

Additional products may be needed such as a Groove Chisel to make additional grooves, extra HeatBoard for ease of layout, and Margin Board for non-heated areas to match the thickness of HeatBoard.
